Matter Information: Check box to include Matter number, Billing Method, and Responsible Attorney information on the statements. Change to "Responsible Attorney" to change the order of statements. Group Results By: Determines the order that statements appear in the PDF when generating statements for all clients. Or, generate for Clients with a "zero balance" (they do not currently owe your firm any funds), or "unbilled clients with funds in Trust or Operating" (they are Clients with a positive balance of funds held at either the Contact or Matter level) You can choose to generate a statement for all clients or all clients for a Responsible Attorney. There are several options to choose from when selecting to generate the Statements of Account. Here you can choose if you want to create statements for "All Clients" (in one PDF file with separate pages for each), a "Specific Client", or all clients for a specific "Responsible Attorney".Unchecking/Checking either of the box's will affect the amount of info displayed in the PDF/CSV.Here you can refine the information you want to pull into the Statement. To generate a Statements of Accounts, go to the Billing tab, then click the arrow to the right of the 'New bills' button and click New statements of account. This Statement can be provided to clients as a reminder of outstanding amounts due, or as a history report of billing. Clio users have the ability to generate Statements of Accounts that provide the opening balances as of the specified date, the closing balance as of the date specified and the balance owed in a printable version for clients or your own records.
